Marie-Paule Dufresne, the Director of Fundraising Campaigns, has accepted a new challenge and will be moving on. We wish her well and thank her for her invaluable contributions to the CAMMAC cause.
In continuing our campaigns with the energy for which they are so well known, we are proud to announce the appointment of Sarah Tobias as Consultant to the Opus campaign and associated development strategies. Her experience across Canada is considerable. She has worked with major organizations and corporations on both sides of the development community acting as a Fundraiser and as an Advisor to major corporations. A resident of Montreal, Ms Tobias will bring her knowledge and commitment to achieving success in our campaigns.
With the approval of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, Mélanie Doyon, previously Director of Member Services, will become CAMMAC’s Director of Development. We are all aware of her passion for CAMMAC, her support of the membership and the care she takes with the many visitors who come to the Lake MacDonald Music Centre. She is happy to accept this new role and is looking forward to forming a dynamic team with Ms Tobias. All enquiries concerning campaigns should now be directed to Ms Doyon at opus@cammac.ca and 888 622-8755.
Ms Alwynne Wise continues as Administrative Assistant to the Opus Fundraising campaign and assistant to the Executive Director. She will gladly receive and acknowledge all gifts and take care of the campaign records and other donation enquiries with her usual superb organizational skills. 888 622-8755 or adjcam@qc.aira.com
Replacing Ms Doyon to take care of Member Services and Registrations for the Lake MacDonald Music Centre, we are delighted to announce the return of Raymond Legault. He is well known to those who attend the Centre having worked during a year when Ms Doyon took maternity leave and for the last few summers as an assistant. CAMMAC is fortunate that such great experience is available to us. All enquiries regarding the Music Centre and membership services should now be directed to Mr. Legault at national@cammac.ca or 888 622-8755.
Benoît Clément, previously known as Director of Development, will now have a title much more appropriate to the work that he has already been doing so ably for several years. His position will now be known as Director of Government and Community Relations and we look forward to his continuing success in these areas. fincam@qc.aira.com 888 622-8755.

He will be working closely with Adrienne Pluim, Ontario Music Centre Administrator, to produce an exciting 2006 season at Lakefield College. At the same time, the Ontario Music Centre committee has elected a new president, Mark Heitshu, a longtime CAMMAC member and volunteer.
