La vie en harmonie / Life in Harmony

During the Summer of 2002 a production company was hired to capture the spirit of Cammac on film. Quite a challenge! Judging from the reactions following the premiere during Thankgiving weekend at the Lake McDonald Music Centre, the results are really exceptional. All present were profoundly moved by the quality of the movie. It was quite an emotional event and there were even a few moist eyes in the house!
This lovely 15 minute film is now available from Cammacs National Office. Youll have the opportunity to enjoy Lake McDonald at any time! You could also offer this unique pleasure to the amateur musicians in your life. Its a wonderful Holiday gift. After one look, your friends and fellow musicians will surely want to spend a week at the music center!
It is important to note that although the present video is based visually on Lake McDonald, there is a great deal about the philosophy and goals of Cammac that is applicable to the regions and the Ontario Music Centre.

After its successful premiere at CAMMAC Thanksgiving weekend 2006, a new improved version of BUILDING IN HARMONY is available on DVD. Narrated by Ray Sealey, this 49 min. documentary poetically blends construction scenes with music and images from the new building in use. From the demolition, through the cold winter days of construction and ending with a stirring rendition of Holst’s Suite in F in the elegant new concert hall, you get to go behind the gyproc and see the innovative green architectural features as they are installed.
Learn from the professionals how using "integrated design" produced a structure that fulfilled all the objectives. Hear how Joyce Zuker-Fuchs, very attached to the old lodge, discovers that the CAMMAC spirit still lives on.

BONUS VIDEO:
If you can’t get enough of the construction footage, there is also A CONSTRUCTION CHRONICLE which contains no music and no narration, just 47 minutes of big trucks, power tools and burly construction workers. Riveting footage that will keep you nailed to your seat.
The price including postage is: $30 + tax
