Introduction

The National Office, located in Harrington, constitutes CAMMAC’s headquarters and is open throughout the year.  Memberships are received and updated in this office, and related information forwarded to CAMMAC’s five regions and to individual members, on request.  The Music Library with its impressive collection of more than 10 000 scores, is also located here.

Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, National Office management and support staff are responsible for all matters pertaining to administration, finances, development, membership services, communications, and the music library, as well as maintenance of the Lake MacDonald Music Centre site and associated activities.

The Artistic Director devises the Lake MacDonald Music Centre Summer Program and hires all instructors. National Office personnel prepare the required contracts, take participant registrations, and ensure that all logistics are in place for optimal functioning of the program. Reservations for the new four seasons Main Lodge are also taken by the National Office.  The participation of volunteer workers is co-ordinated by staff members.
